I was able to weed it in the mat and get it in transfer tape but now i need to get it onto another piece of transfer so that it will be shiny side down to iron in to my t shirt.
Iron on vinyl shiny side up.
My iron on vinyl cut through to the mat.
It s a water resistant and uv resistant film with an adhesive that can last for up to 3 years.
It s the shinny side.
Place design on your base material shiny liner side up.
Cutting premium vinyl permanent with a cricut machine.
Then position it plastic side down and vinyl side up the more dull less shiny side.
So again that s shiny side down.
Place the weeded image liner side up onto the preheated material.
Press as instructed see heat transfer guide.
Leaving the liner in place flip the base material over and apply heat to the back of the design as instructed see heat transfer guide.
I had the shiny side down had it set to custom material and chose heat transfer not cricut.
Gold comes in both the every day and foil but if you want it shiny gold or rose gold use the foil kind.
The iron on vinyl is put onto the roll carrier side out which means the side that curls down is the carrier side and the side that curls up is the vinyl side in the end if you re faced with two shiny sides the same color the slightly less shiny side is going to be the vinyl side.
Select images and size and load the mat into the machine.
If using a household iron use the cotton linen setting generally the highest temperature setting.
Iron on holographic vinyl this is holographic vs shiny it s a fine line but hopefully you know what i.
Use the iron to preheat your base material for 10 15 seconds place the weeded image shiny liner side up onto the preheated material apply medium pressure to each area of your design with the iron for 25 30 seconds.
Apply medium pressure with the iron for 25 30 seconds.
Iron on foil vinyl this guy is super shiny just like foil.
Iron over the back of the shirt or fabric for about 20 25 seconds.
If you are ironing on to a pillow you can place a piece of a thin fabric over the vinyl.
Flip the base material over and apply medium pressure with the iron to the back of the material for an additional 25 30 seconds.
Make sure the steam setting is off.
Peel the liner away from the design at the temperature instructed see heat transfer guide.

Place your vinyl vinyl side down onto the preheated area and flip over your shirt.
